Beginning with this issue, you're going to discover facts that will
keep you feeling and looking great naturally. The information is taken
from my second book The Bodiwell Health System, The Owner's Manual Nature
Forgot To Include, available Q3 2008. (Google Bodiwell)
Has anyone ever taken the time to really help you understand all the benefits
that a natural approach to health has to offer you?
- Did you know your body has the amazing, even incredible power
and ability to
realign and repair itself if you’d just give it the things it needs?
- Would you like to learn how you can easily refresh, revitalize
and rehydrate your
body organs to improve energy, weight, stress, facial lines, skin tone and
your long-term health and sense of well-being?
- How would you like to experience the feeling of being alive, vital and well
just by tuning in and being aware of your body every day?
You can, because within each of us, nature has provided all the pieces of the
puzzle necessary to achieve exceptional health and wellness … then left it up to
us to put them all together. All the pleasures and riches in the world are
insignificant when you do not have your health to enjoy them with, so the choice
for health and wellness begins within each of us.
Warning Lights And Symptoms
When people enter this world, most come equipped by nature with all
of the pieces of a puzzle necessary to enjoy life with excellent health.
But too many people tend to allow modern conveniences and a busy life to get in the way and by the time they get their
career and family underway, many have not only managed to scramble the puzzle,
they’ve also lost some of the key pieces and are experiencing early signs of
illness such as fatigue, weight gain, pain, headaches, stress and so on.
Seems Our Cars Get More Attention
Sometime it seems people take better care of their car than their body. If regular maintenance is not completed on
a car, it becomes sluggish, less fuel efficient, followed by warning lights
indicating trouble ahead and if unresolved, it usually results in expensive
repairs. The body is much more complex.
The human body’s warning lights are its symptoms, symptoms like fatigue,
headaches, allergies, joint pain and so on, then when significant events happen that noticeably slow or even stop us in mid-step, we tend to ask many
questions – including the question - why me?
How Do We Know This Is True?
You've heard the evidence of a health crisis reported on the news almost daily.
Quality of life is declining because people are having difficulty coping with
their jobs and doing the things they love with their families because health
issues are getting in the way.
It's very likely you know someone close to you who is struggling with one or more
health problems.
The good news is no one has to miss out on enjoying a great life because of
their health, but it is essential to understand why health has become such a
challenge for so many people..
Putting The Human Body's Needs In Context
In very simple terms, we are not physically wired for the life we live today!
Over the past 10,000 years of modern human evolution, in just 1% of that
time, about the last 100 years, knowledge, technology and conveniences have
advanced at astounding speeds yet our body's basic physiological needs remain
essentially identical to those of our distant ancestors.
Food was not always as plentiful as it is today, but what was available, was
far more nutritionally dense and lacked the excessive levels of sodium, fat
and sugars prevalent in all processed foods today. In addition, our bodies
got lots of exercise hunting, gathering and later through traditional farming.
So if you can accept that the human body requires certain conditions similar
to the basis of 99% of its evolution, you can start by
setting realistic expectations in order to achieve the level of understanding
needed to accomplish good results.
When you consider a holistic approach to your health, it satisfies many if
not all of
the fundamental human needs required to experience and enjoy good health.
The Reality of Being Healthy Vs. Suppressing Symptoms of Illness
If you were to sit and really think about your health concerns, the symptoms,
ask yourself how long you’ve had the symptom(s), how severe they are and how
frequently they occur.
Write them down on a piece of paper. When you begin this process, you
may be surprised to realize that it has been going for a while, a year, 2 years
maybe even 5 years or more so is it realistic to believe they can be resolved in
a few days or weeks?
For the 95%+ of people who do not require the life-saving capabilities of
modern medicine and its astounding life preserving science, modern meds can
suppress symptoms but rarely do they resolve the root problem and often the
side-effects can be a serious hazard to your health.
Just listen to the
commercials selling you on the drug benefits and the significant side-effects of the
medications you're supposed to ask your doctor for. In fact, consider
why are the drug companies marketing their products to you (vs. your doctor) in
the first place!
A qualified practitioner can provide solid advice and guidance that can help
most people restore
balance in their body and a high quality of life thus
avoiding the symptoms of physical decline and disease.
Why Taking Personal Responsibility For Health Makes A Difference
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1982, hospitalized with total face
to toe right side paralysis that was diagnosed as multiple sclerosis and later
added fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, etc.
Because my doctors did not have the answers to help me to regain my health, I
chose not to accept the medical response of "that's just the way it is" and
prognosis for a recovery of under 75% to canes.
My intensive research, studies, recovery and present great health taught me that
getting well was a choice I had to make for myself and finding the solutions a
personal responsibility I had to accept and pursue. Now, all too often I hear “what did you do to get well” or “you are so lucky,
you got well”.
People continually ask me how did you do it, yet when I tell them what I did,
many say …
· Oh no, I cannot do that
· Oh no, it is too much for me …
· I am so tired, it is so difficult …
· It will take so long …
· I would have to do all of that …
· My partner just won’t understand …
While I'm happy to respond, have you ever heard these excuses from anyone? I hear them all too often and I
call it “chronic excusitis”! I strongly believe anybody can do it, but it
remains a personal choice!
I’m sharing this story in the next edition of the best selling book-series
“Wake Up … Live The Life You Love” co-authored with Anthony Robbins, Wayne Dyer
and others (due 1-2008).
You Have To Want To Be Well Then Choose To Be Well
When I was sick, I started to take just one small step at a time and figured
out the next step as it came to me … literally and figuratively speaking.
It was like driving a car at night - you can only see so far but when you drive
those 60 meters, you see the next 60 meters and so progress can happen, one step
at a time. Today, I am privileged to share those simple lessons.
Until you take that first step, nothing will change and so I invite you to
write down your 3 health goals for 2008, even
send them in to me for
some personal feedback if you wish. Post them where you'll see them
every day and remember, if the goals are big, break them into smaller goals then
move forward!
If you really want to make 2008 the year you took charge of your
health and got on the road to wellness, then my gift to you is a special
incentive and reward for taking that first step.

1 cup Chickpeas, cooked
2 Tbsp. Lemon Juicer
2-4 cloves Garlic, finely minced
1/1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
2 Tbsp. tahini (sesame seed butter)
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil, extra-virgin, 1st cold press
Chopped Parsley
Process cooked chickpeas in a food processor or blender until smooth and creamy,
adding small amounts of water (or bean cooking liquid) just enough to get it
smooth. Transfer to a shallow serving bowl and beat in lemon juice, garlic
and sea salt.
Gradually stir in tahini to form a thick, light paste.. Additional liquid
may be added to produce a thinner dip or dressing for salads. Let stand
for at least 30 minutes so the flavours have a chance to blend together.
Just before serving, drizzle some olive oil on the surface and add sprinkling of
chopped parsley. Can keep in fridge for 7 to 10 days and could be frozen
Serve with organic pita bread or raw vegetables or as a spread in a vegetarian
sandwich. Enjoy!
